Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- oleo - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- sour milk to make sour, add a little lemon juice - 1/2 c
- Mix the remaining ingredients and add hot mixture
How to make texas cookies:
Mix first 3 ingredients and heat until dissolved. Mix the remaining ingredients and add hot mixture. Pour on greased and floured cookie sheet, 18 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Icing:1 stick oleo2 Tbsp. cocoa4 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar Melt first 4 ingredients. Heat and dissolve, then add powdered sugar.
