- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make easy chocolate cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar Preheat oven to 400°. Sift in a bowl, flour, sugar and salt. In a saucepan, melt margarine, cocoa and water. Bring to a rapid boil and pour over dry mixture. Stir well. Add buttermilk, then eggs (slightly beaten), baking soda and vanilla; mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake 20 minutes.Icing: Five minutes before cake is done, melt and bring to a boil, margarine, cocoa and milk; pour over powdered sugar and add vanilla. Beat with mixer until smooth. Spread over cake.
