Fruit cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/4 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- 2 can fruit or 2 c
- juice, if canned or 1/2 c - 1 c
How to make fruit cobbler:
Cream butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients and add milk. Beat until smooth. Pour into 2-quart casserole. Mix fruit, sugar and juice. Pour over top. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes, until light brown on top.Note: Put in oven before you start dinner; will be ready for dessert.
Note: Peaches, cherries or blueberries may be used. Add spices as needed.
