Ingredients/Components
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped carrots - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- round steak - 1 item
- smooshed canned tomatoes - 2 c
How to make swiss steak:
Cut, flour and pound round steak. Then brown each piece of meat in a little oil. When well browned, cover with a mixture of canned tomatoes, celery, onion, carrots, bay leaf, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
