  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • self-rising flour
  • Wesson oil
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item

How to make red velvet cake:

Icing:1 large pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans1 box powdered sugar Cake: Mix all ingredients. Pour into 3 (8 1/2 to 9-inch) baking cake pans. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.

Icing: Soften cream cheese. Mix all ingredients. Sit in refrigerator until cake is cool.
