Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1/2 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 2 tsp
  • can tomato soup - 1 oz
  • can water - 1 item
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • green pepper, optional - 1/2 c
  • round steak - 2 lb

How to make swiss steak:

Pound flour, salt, and pepper into steak. Cut into serving size pieces. Brown meat on both sides in oil with onion. Add soup diluted with water. Simmer slowly for 2 hours or more, until tender. You can also put the oven on low.
