- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 2 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 oz
- can water - 1 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- green pepper, optional - 1/2 c
- round steak - 2 lb
How to make swiss steak:
Pound flour, salt, and pepper into steak. Cut into serving size pieces. Brown meat on both sides in oil with onion. Add soup diluted with water. Simmer slowly for 2 hours or more, until tender. You can also put the oven on low.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
