Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar
- melted margarine - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. melted margarine1/2 c. all-purpose flour1 c. chopped pecans Mix sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs well. Put into buttered casserole (8 x 8-inch square or 2-quart round).Prepare topping: Mix brown sugar, melted margarine, flour and pecans. Mix these until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
