Swedish potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1 item
- medium sized potatoes - 12 item
How to make swedish potatoes:
Peel potatoes and put into cold water. Slice potatoes crosswise, being careful not to cut all the way through. Roll cut potatoes in melted butter and set into well buttered baking pan that is large enough to hold them. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until golden and tender.Hint: If you set the potato in a serving spoon, it will keep the knife from slicing all the way through. I start cutting at one end and move the potato as necessary.
