Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/3 c
- dry sherry or white wine - 1/3 c
- chicken, skinned and boned - 2 lb
- green leeks or green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
How to make yakitori:
Make Yakitori by alternating chicken with leeks on 8-inch bamboo skewers. Makes 24 skewers. Cook under a broiler for 8 minutes, brushing frequently with sauce. Serve on a bed of rice with sauce. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Chicken, Main dish.
