Swedish potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
- green pepper - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- bacon, fried - 1/2 lb
- medium potatoes, diced - 8 item
- slices fresh bread - 3 item
- jar pimentos optional - 1 item
How to make swedish potatoes:
Dice all ingredients except pepper. Cut pepper into rings. Put layer of potatoes in deep baking dish. Layer onion, cheese, bacon, pimentos and bread. Repeat layers. Melt butter in milk and pour over all. Decorate with pepper rings and pimento if desired. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Potato.
