Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
How to make swedish meatballs:
Melt margarine in a skillet; saute onions over low heat, stirring constantly until golden color. Remove from heat. In a bowl, mix together onions, ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt and pepper. Make into meatballs the size of large walnuts. Return to skillet; brown meatballs on all sides. Cover and cook over low heat about 10 minutes or until done. Makes about 20 meatballs.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Ground beef, Beef.
