- salt - 1/4 c
- pecan halves - 1 2
How to make toasted pecans:
Bring water to a rolling boil. Add salt and pecans. Stir and boil for 5 minutes. Take off stove and pour into a colander. Drain well. Do not rinse. Put on a cookie sheet and place into oven set at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep stirred. Reduce oven to 250° for 1 hour. Stir often.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
