Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• butter not margarine - 1 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Stir. Dough should be fairly stiff. Divide into 5 or 6 balls and refrigerate several hours. Roll out small portions of dough on a floured board. Cut in various shapes. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
