Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- grated orange rind - 1 Tbsp
- sliced cranberries - 2 c
- margarine or shortening - 1 c
- raspberry flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make cranberry bread:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and cream good. Add flour, salt, soda, sour cream, flavorings and orange juice. Mix good. Add cranberries, orange rind and nuts; mix well. Makes 7 small aluminum foil pans or 3 large loaves. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes for small pans or for 50 to 60 minutes for large loaf pans.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
