Strawberry pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
• fresh strawberries - 1 qt
• baked pie shell - 1 item
• lemon juice if desired - 1 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Mash 1/2 quart strawberries; add sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice. Cook 5 to 6 minutes, until syrup is clear. When slightly cooled, add rest of strawberries, sliced, and pour into prepared pie shell.
