Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 c
- salt - 5 Tbsp
- vinegar
- allspice - 1 Tbsp
- onions, chopped - 4 c
- grated squash - 12 c
- large bell peppers, chopped - 3 item
- large jar pimiento - 1 item
How to make squash relish:
Take two heaping cups of patience, one heartful of love, two handfuls of generosity, a dash of laughter and one headful of understanding. Sprinkle generously with kindness. Add plenty of faith and mix well. Spread over a period of a lifetime and serve everybody you meet.My dear friend, Rebecca Nix, gave me a ceramic plate with this inscribed on it 28 years ago.
