Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- pecan halves - 4 c
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
How to make spicy pecans:
Combine first 6 items in a 3-quart casserole dish. Mix well. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on High for 4 minutes. Stir well. Microwave on High for 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes or soft ball stage. Add pecan halves. Stir until coated. Spread on wax paper. Separate with fork. Cool. Yield: 4 cups.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
