  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • grated cheese - 2 c
  • chicken broth or bouillon - 2 c

How to make cheese soup:

Brown onion in butter. Blend in flour and seasoning. Gradually stir in milk and broth. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add cheese. Cook slowly, stirring constantly until cheese melts.
