Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 2 c
- chicken broth or bouillon - 2 c
How to make cheese soup:
Brown onion in butter. Blend in flour and seasoning. Gradually stir in milk and broth. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add cheese. Cook slowly, stirring constantly until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
