  • baking soda - 1 item
  • pepper - 1 item
  • basil - 1 item
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • ground meat - 1 item
  • olive oil - 1 item
  • mushrooms - 1 item
  • small onion - 1 item
  • garlic - 1 item
  • large tomato sauce - 1 item
  • large tomato puree - 1 item
  • Optional: pork ribs

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Optional: pork ribs ground meat mushrooms black olives, etc. In 2 tablespoons olive oil, saute onion, garlic and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add paste with 1 can of water. Add puree with 1/2 can water. Add sauce with 1/2 can water. Bring to a boil. Add a pinch of baking soda (this takes the bitterness away). Simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

Optional items: Meat needs to be browned, then cooked in sauce for 1 to 2 hours. Vegetable options can be added halfway through cooking process.
