Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- baking soda - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- basil - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- ground meat - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 item
- mushrooms - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
- large tomato sauce - 1 item
- large tomato puree - 1 item
- Optional: pork ribs
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Optional: pork ribs ground meat mushrooms black olives, etc. In 2 tablespoons olive oil, saute onion, garlic and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add paste with 1 can of water. Add puree with 1/2 can water. Add sauce with 1/2 can water. Bring to a boil. Add a pinch of baking soda (this takes the bitterness away). Simmer for 1 to 2 hours.Optional items: Meat needs to be browned, then cooked in sauce for 1 to 2 hours. Vegetable options can be added halfway through cooking process.
