Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- large cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- large cans tomatoes - 2 item
- hamburger ground chuck - 2 lb
- medium cans tomato paste, then fill empty cans with water - 2 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Use a big pot. Heat oil and cook chopped onion. Put in the ground beef; let cook until brown. Add garlic salt, oregano, sugar and a couple dashes of pepper. Add the tomatoes, paste and water. Cook slowly for about 3 hours. The sauce should be thick. Stir frequently to prevent scorching. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
