Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- ground turkey or hamburger
- can crushed tomatoes - 1 oz
- can tomato puree - 1 oz
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- oregano - 1 to
- basil - 2 tsp
- rosemary - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- crushed red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- mushrooms, sliced - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown turkey and onion until meat is no longer pink. In large pot, combine all ingredients and stir. Cook over medium heat until boils. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 1 to 2 hours. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles with Parmesan cheese.Note: Can also be placed in crock-pot on low for 6 to 8 hours. Leftovers freeze nicely.
