Ingredients/Components
- white sugar
- clear corn syrup - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- pecans - 1 c
- unbaked pie crust - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Combine sugar, syrup and butter and bring to a boil. Beat eggs and add nuts. Gradually add hot syrup mixture to egg-nut mixture. Cool filling slightly. Pour into unbaked crust. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
