Southern pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• white sugar
• clear corn syrup - 1/2 c
• butter - 1/4 c
• eggs, beaten - 3 item
• pecans - 1 c
• unbaked pie crust - 1 item

How to make southern pecan pie:

Combine sugar, syrup and butter and bring to a boil. Beat eggs and add nuts. Gradually add hot syrup mixture to egg-nut mixture. Cool filling slightly. Pour into unbaked crust. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.
