  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • canned milk - 1/2 c
  • diced raw apples - 3 c
  • Sift together flour, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and soda

How to make apple pudding:

Cream together sugar, butter or margarine and egg. Sift together flour, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and soda. Mix together well. Add raw apples and pecans or other nuts. Add to sugar mixture. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.Sauce:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. white sugar1/2 c. canned milk1 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a full boil the brown sugar, white sugar and canned milk. Set aside. Then add butter and vanilla. Serve warm over cake squares.

This is great to serve to company after Sunday night church. You may not have any left. My boys enjoy it!
