- canola oil for frying - 1 item
How to make southern fried chicken:
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first five ingredients. Add chickens, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat. In a large skillet, heat 1/4-inch of oil on medium-high; fry chicken in batches for 18 to 20 minutes or until juices run clear, turning once.
