  • eggs - 6 item
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • sticks butter - 3 item
  • Swans Down cake flour - 3 c

How to make south carolina pound cake:

Using a mixer, cream butter with sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time. Add the cake flour, a little at a time. Mix the baking soda and sour cream together and add to mix. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes in 325° oven, in a tube pan or until golden brown on top.
