Ingredients/Components
- water
- red food coloring - 1 tsp
- white sugar - 3 c
- Karo syrup - 1 c
- cinnamon oil - 1 tsp
How to make hard candy:
Boil sugar, syrup and water to 310°. Remove from heat. Add oil and coloring. Stir. Pour onto buttered pan. Cut in small pieces. Drop in powdered sugar.Caution: Do not attempt to make this without a thermometer. Keep head away from fumes when stirring oil into mixture.
