South carolina fresh peach cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- sliced or chopped fresh peaches - 2 c
How to make south carolina fresh peach cake:
Combine flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Mix well. Set aside. Combine eggs and sugar. Beat until smooth. Add flour mixture; beat just until blended . Dredge peaches and pecans in 1/2 cup flour. Gently fold into batter. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes in 1 (13 x 9 x 2-inch) pan. Cool. Serve with or without whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
