- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- creamed cottage cheese - 1 c
- unbeaten egg - 1 item
How to make casserole bread:
Soften yeast in water. Heat to lukewarm: cottage cheese, sugar and butter. Combine softened yeast, cottage cheese, sugar, butter, salt, soda and egg. Add flour to form a stiff dough. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size. Stir dough down; turn into well-greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. Let rise in a warm place.
