Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cake flour or 1 3/4 c - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- brown sugar
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/3 c. brown sugar1/4 c. white sugar1/4 c. flour3 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. cinnamon Topping: Mix brown sugar, white sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon until crumbly.Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, mix well. Add salt and vanilla. Sift flour, measure, add baking powder and soda; sift again. Add flour mixture. Add sour cream. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Add 1/2 of topping and remaining batter and use rest of topping. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
