  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 1/2
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1/2 pt
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1/2 c

How to make french coffee cake:

Topping:3 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. butter3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Cream the sugar and margarine. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream; beat until smooth. Pour half of batter into greased angel food pan. Sprinkle half of topping onto top of batter. Pour the rest of the batter into pan. Sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350°
