Sour cream chocolate cake
Ingredients/Components
- Sugar - 2 c
- Self-rising Flour - 2 c
- Baking Soda - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - 1 tbsp
- stick Margarine - 1 item
- Cocoa - 4 tsp
- Water - 1 c
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
- Sour Cream - 8 oz
- Icing:1 stick Margarine
- Milk - 6 tbsp
- Icing:1 Stick oleo - 1 item
How to make sour cream chocolate cake:
Icing:1 stick Margarine4 tbsp. Cocoa6 tbsp. Milk1 box Confectioner's Sugar1 tsp. Vanilla Sift dry ingredients together. Bring margarine, cocoa and water to a boil in saucepan. Add to dry ingredients. Mix well and add vanilla and sour cream. Blend well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cake will sink in the middle.For icing, five minutes before cake is done, mix first three ingredients in large saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Mix well and spread over hot cake.
