Ingredients/Components
- Sugar - 3 c
- Milk - 1 item
- Vanilla - 2 tsp
- Soda - 1/4 tsp
- sticks Butter - 2 item
- All Purpose Flour - 3 c
- lg Eggs - 6 item
- Sour Cream original - 8 oz
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.Cream butter (I use Land O' Lakes Unsalted Butter) until very creamy and fluffy. Add sugar (sift one time and add small amounts at a time). Add sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time with milk, alternately. Add Vanilla.
Add flour and soda. (This is a must!!! Sift flour and soda 6 times.)
Bake in bundt pan greased with Crisco and dusted with flour for one hour and forty minutes. Makes one large cake or seven 2x5 loaves.
