  • graham cracker crumbs 20 crackers

  • melted butter or margarine - 1/3 c

  • vanilla ice cream - 1 pt

How to make strawberry cream pie:

Filling:1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin1 pt. vanilla ice cream Crust: Heat oven to 350°. Mix crumbs, sugar and water. (If desired, reserve 2 to 3 tablespoons crumb mixture for a garnish.) Press mixture firmly and evenly against bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan. Bake 10 minutes. Let cool.

Filling: Boil strawberries, breaking apart with fork. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Mix in ice cream until melted. Chill until thickened, but not set. Pour into pie crust. Chill until firm, about 2 hours. If desired, top with frozen dessert topping (thawed) or sweetened whipped cream.
