Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar
  • soda crackers I use Ritz crackers - 15 item
  • cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp

How to make mock apple pie:

Cook until dissolved the water, sugar and cream of tartar. Break 15 crackers into unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter. Sprinkle on 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
