vanilla - 3 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 6 c
buttermilk - 2 c
eggs, beaten - 4 item
baking powder - 6 tsp
baking soda - 2 tsp
white sugar - 3 c
Crisco oil - 2 c

How to make soft sugar cookies:

Mix sugar, oil and beaten eggs. Add soda to buttermilk; add to egg mixture alternating with dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Mix well. Use 1/4 cup measure to pour dough for each cookie. Sprinkle top with sugar. Bake at 375° for 8 to 11 minutes. Makes 3 dozen large cookies.
