- shortening - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- flour
- baking powder
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- miniature marshmallows
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- confectioners sugar
- sticks melted oleo - 2 item
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make chocolate marshmallow cake:
Frosting:1 lb. confectioners sugar1/3 c. cocoa2 sticks melted oleo1/4 c. evaporated milk1 c. chopped nuts Cake: Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and mix thoroughly. Add flour mixed with baking powder, cocoa and salt. Add marshmallows. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Frosting: Mix sugar and cocoa; add oleo, milk and nuts. Spread on cake.
