- sugar - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda
- salt - 1 tsp
- Crisco oil
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- coconut - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 2 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 (8
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- Pour into greased and floured tube pan
- sour cream - 1/3 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
How to make carrot cake:
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Stand 20 minutes before removing from pan. Frost when cooled.Sour Cream Frosting:2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1/3 c. sour cream1/4 c. shortening3/4 tsp. vanilla1/8 tsp. salt Into small bowl, measure ingredients.
