Soft sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 3 tsp
• cup buttermilk - 1 item
• cups sugar - 2 item
• cups flour - 4 item
• cup crisco - 1 item

How to make soft sugar cookies:

Cream sugar and crisco. Beat in well beaten eggs. Add buttermilk and soda. Add flour one cup at a time. Add baking powder. Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate over night. Flour table well. Place a small amount of dough on flour. Sprinkle flour on top and pat out with hand to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured cookie cutters. Bake 8 minutes at 350°.
