Shrimp salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- garlic salt - 1 item
- chopped fresh parsley - 1 item
- salad dressing or mayo - 1 c
- cans deveined shrimp - 2 1/2
- bottle red French dressing - 1 oz
- slices bread and butter pickles - 8 item
- several celery sticks - 1 item
How to make shrimp salad:
Drain shrimp and save liquid in bowl. Cook macaroni and drain with cold water. Break up and add shrimp. Add pickles cut in small pieces. Add chopped celery and sprinkle with garlic salt. Mix. Put 1 cup salad dressing into a separate bowl. Slowly add French dressing, mixing well. Add shrimp liquid and mix. Add to large bowl and mix. Sprinkle parsley flakes over the top and chill.This recipe came from my brother-in-law, Robert O'doughlin's mother. This makes a lot and I use it for big buffet dinners. My family loves it.
