Shrimp curry
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- applesauce - 2 c
- curry powder - 2 3
- Lipton onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- shrimp, boiled and deveined
How to make shrimp curry:
Melt butter in large pan and blend in flour. Stir in the applesauce, soup mix, water, curry powder, ginger and lemon juice. Cook until it thickens to the correct consistency. Add shrimp and heat thoroughly. Serve over mounds of rice. Sprinkle or pass condiments (shredded coconut, ground nuts and chutney). Serves 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
