Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- shrimp - 1 lb
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 2 Tbsp
- 2 can tomatoes
- packet shrimp spice - 1 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Saute bell pepper and onion in bacon drippings. Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp and simmer for at least ten minutes. Add peeled and cleaned shrimp and cook until tender. Remove packet of shrimp spice before serving. Serve on bed of rice.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
