Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- cooked, cleaned shrimp - 1 lb
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- rosemary - 1/8 tsp
- cooked or canned tomatoes - 2 c
How to make shrimp creole:
Melt margarine, adding onion, pepper and garlic. Saute 10 minutes. Add spices and tomatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add shrimp and heat thoroughly. Serve on hot rice.If you like "hot" Creole add 1 1/4 teaspoons chili powder and 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce with the other spices.
