Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped onions - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 c
- bell pepper - 1 c
- cooked rice
- can cream of shrimp soup - 1 item
- red pepper to taste - 1 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices toasted bread - 4 item
- can pimento - 1 item
- onion tops - 1 c
- water save water from boiled shrimp - 1 c
- cooked shrimp, boiled retain water - 3 c
How to make shrimp casserole:
Cook onions, bell pepper, celery and garlic in butter until tender. Add soup, water, parsley, green onions, chopped shrimp and pimento. Heat thoroughly. Stir in rice and 1/2 of the bread. Cook a little longer. Season to taste.Put in a 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs over. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serves 8.
