Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- hot water - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 4 item
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cooked rice - 3 c
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 c
- shrimp, peeled and deveined - 3 c
- onion tops, chopped - 1/2 c
- slices white bread soaked in milk - 3 item
- butter pats for garnish - 1 item
How to make shrimp casserole:
Saut?© onions, celery, bell peppers and garlic in one stick of butter. Add parsley flakes, onion tops, soup, shrimp, rice, bread pieces, and hot water. Add salt and pepper, if desired. Cook 8 to 10 minutes. Pour in a 2 qt. casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs and butter pats. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Delicious!Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Shrimp.
