Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • stick margarine - 3/4 item
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • green pepper, chopped - 3/4 c
  • mushrooms - 1 c
  • celery, chopped - 1 c
  • cooked rice - 2 c
  • saltine crackers - 1 item
  • can canned milk - 1 item
  • shrimp, boiled
  • small can pimento - 1 item
  • ; best if fresh - 1 can
  • dash of hot sauce your taste - 1 item
  • dash of Worcestershire your taste - 1 item

How to make seafood casserole:

Cook the onion, green pepper, celery and mushrooms in the 3/4 stick margarine until tender. Mix pimento, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, hot sauce, Worcestershire, canned milk and lemon juice, then add to other ingredients. Put in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Crumble saltines on top. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
