Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/4 c
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- instant minced onion - 1 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- slices toasted bread, cubed - 4 item
How to make scalloped tomatoes:
Combine tomatoes, onion, sugar, salt, Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce in bowl; pour mixture in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole ending with toast cubes. Pour butter over toast. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes. Yields 4 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Kosher.
