- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- medium onions - 6 item
- American cheese, grated - 2 c
How to make scalloped onions:
Slice onions and separate into rings. Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Melt margarine and blend in flour. Stir milk in slowly. Cook until thick. Stir in salt and grated cheese. Pour over onions. Bake at 375° uncovered for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Onions.
