Scalloped cabbage
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- stick margarine - 3/4 item
- dry bread crumbs - 1 c
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
- can cream of chicken or mushroom soup - 1 item
- medium-size onion - 1 item
How to make scalloped cabbage:
Chop, cook and drain cabbage. Saute onion in margarine. Stir cream cheese, soup and onions into cooked cabbage with half the bread crumbs. Mix together and pour into casserole. Sprinkle with the other half of bread crumbs. Pour 3 tablespoons melted margarine over top. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Side dish, Vegetables.
