Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • dry bread crumbs - 2 c
  • finely chopped celery - 1/4 c
  • can salmon, drained and flaked - 1 lb

How to make salmon loaf:

Saute onion in butter until yellow. Combine with celery, salt, pepper, parsley, lemon juice and flaked salmon. Combine eggs with milk and pour over bread crumbs. Add to other ingredients and blend well. Pack into well-greased loaf pan and bake in a 350° oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until done.
