Salmon loaf
Ingredients/Components
- slices bread - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- size - 2 cans
- juice of 1 lemon
How to make salmon loaf:
Heat milk and bread in a saucepan until bread is dissolved. Saute celery and onion in margarine until tender. Put salmon in a bowl. Sprinkle lemon juice over salmon. Add beaten eggs to milk mixture. Add onions and celery. Pour over salmon and mix thoroughly. Put in flat pan, 9 x 13-inch. Bake at 375° for about 1 hour. Serves 8 to 12.Recipe categories: Main dish, Saltwater fish, Salmon.
